About Us Kites R Us Ltd are a family run company that unlike many others do not just sell kites but who actually enjoy kiting and have been involved with kites for many years, going as far back as when stunt kites where the rage in the mid seventies with light weight aluminium tubes. We pride ourselves on being honest and are always happy to try and assist when ever possible. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart by clicking on the add to basket button. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Discount Vouchers - Are only valid for orders with product values of £5.00 or more. Vouchers and Offer Codes are issued as a promotion or gesture of good will, we reserve the right to withdraw or reject any voucher codes that have not been used in good faith. Only 1 discount, voucher or offer code can be used per order.

All orders are payable in full before despatch

If you prefer not to use a credit card online then you can always use the pay offline option or send us a cheque just place your order and when you get to the payment page use the "Pay Offline or Cheque" Option in the check out stage - Then print your order and send it to us via post and we will process it as soon as we recieve it. Cheques Should be made payable to "Kites R Us Ltd" If you wish to pay by cheque then funds must be cleared prior to despatch of goods.

We accept the following credit cards via Credit Call / Actinic Payaments and Natwest Streamline We also accept payment via Google Checkout, Payoffline and Paypal.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we have inadvertently under-priced goods or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

SPECIAL OFFERS - Discount codes can not be used with any products or sets that have already been discounted.

NOTICE : - Some of the products featured on this site can be dangerous when used without training or not for what they were designed for. "Kites R Us" will not be liable for any damage or injury caused when using any of the products purchased from this site. By accepting our terms and conditions in the checkout stages you are accepting full responsibility for any damge or injury caused and will not hold "Kites R Us" responsible. If you are unhappy with these terms then you should not purchase the product.


************ MISSING / SHORT DELIVERY ***************
If you believe your delivery is missing items then you must email us within 5 working days of receiving the package and provide full details of the missing items. Please ensure that you include your order number so we can trace your order quickly.

************ NON DELIVERY ***************
If your delivery is missing / has failed to arrive after 7 Working Days from the date of the order shipped email then you must email us. Items are not classed as lost by Royal Mail until 15 working days and 99% of missing deliveries are returned to us by Royal Mail and marked as "NOT CALLED FOR" this means that delivery had been attempted but no one had been in to take the collection so a card was left with details on how to obtain your parcel. Any items return that are still required will be charged a second delivery charge before the order is shipped a second time.

If you item has still not arrived after 15 days we will reship your order or offer a full refund . We will also file a claim against Royal Mail or the carrier. They may contact you requesting that you sign a form stating the item has not been recieved. Please note alot of carriers now take photos of the door on the house they delivered to, if someone else at the address signs for the delivery then it is classed as delivered and no claims will be entertained.
Shipping And Handling Delivery is charged by weight and location. UK customers have a number of varying delivery options, European and International orders are all dispatched by UPS, DHL, Parcel Force Global Priority Service or AirSure. AirSure is only available for items sized as follows 150mm x 150mm x 600mm Box or 70mm x 900mm Tube. If your item is too big to be sent via this method we will contact you.

We shall dispatch you item by Royal Mail, UPS, Parcel Force or Carrier. If you have requested a faster delivery method then we shall ensure we do our best to dispatch your order via that method, Next day is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the carrier. We can not be held responsible for any cost incurred for none delivery.

EU, Eire and International Orders - We will supply orders to overseas customers, however we operate strict security measures and reserve the right to refuse and refund any orders placed if they fail to meet any of our policies. If you are unsure then please contact us. All EU and International orders are sent recorded using either Global Priority or AirSure Service and delivered normally within 2-3 Days. Please note customs in receiving countries may hold the goods for inspection and delay delivery. We can not be held responsible for these delays.
Delivery Schedule Charges start @ £1.50 and are dependant on weight and location.
Standard Delivery can take 2-7 Days (Normally 3 or 4 days)
Royal Mail Special Delivery Before 1pm
Carrier 1-2 Working Days (Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, DHL or UPS)
Carrier 3-4 Working Days (Sent via DHL or UPS)

The cut off time for DHL is 9:45 and by UPS is 12:00
International is dependant on country and customs delays, normally up to 5 days

Please remember these times are week days and are from dispatch and not from order, some deliveries can be made on a Saturday but you must contact us to arrange special delivery.

Next day delivery is day after the item is despatched not the day ordered and maybe delivered up to 6pm.
If you must have the item by a specific time then please contact us directly and we can arrange a special am delivery to suit you. Please remember this is a custom service and is charged according to the special arrangements you require

Royal Mail Special Delivery - 95% of orders are dispatched the same day (working days) providing they have been recieved before 2pm. Please remember someone must sign for the item, we are not responsible if no one is avaliable and your item its taken back to your local sorting office.

We will always try and send your items by the fastest delivery service possible.

If you item has not turned up within 7 days it is probably at you local royal mail sorting office. Royal mail will not re-deliver unless you ring the number on the card left and ask them to. If an item is returned to us and you failed to collect it then a second delivery charge will need to be taken to cover the cost of re-delivery. If you choose to have a refund then you will not be refunded the delivery charge only the cost of the goods ordered

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if it is likely to be more than a few days late.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are processed using Credit Call & NatWest Streamline unless you choose to pay via Paypal.

We also use "Verified by VISA" and "MASTERCARD SecureCode" this system requires the customer to use there secret login details agreed with their card issuer, if you have not set these up then you can proceed with your order. If you do not use this then we would recommend that you use this feature to ensure your own card security. Help combat credit card crime and only trust sites that use these methods. Credit Card Numbers are not held in clear text on any web site and you can be assured that PROTX have to comply with the strictest security procedures required by your credit card company. Address verification is made in real time with you card issuer and it validates you address, postcode and security numbers. If you card gets declined this could be because some of the information fails to be verified or you are shipping to an address not authorised by you credit card company

If you are still concerned then you can use our new "Pay Offline" facility, this allows you to place your order and then visit your local post office or payzone to make the payment. Guarantee Due to the nature of these products and flying in winds stonger than what they have been designed for we do not offer any guarantee. If however you have a problem with your product then please contacts us. We can usually make arrangements for you to return your kite to the manufacturers for repair, please note some repairs maybe chargable, we do not accept any responsibilty for any costs and the repairs.

Never return an item without a returns number as the item will not be accepted and is likel;y to be returned unopened

Returns Policy If you wish to return an item you do not require then you must contact us and request a returns number within 7 days of recieving the item - never return any item without this authorisation. Goods returned must be in a saleable condition and in the condition you received them, in all of the original packaging, and returned within seven working days of the delivery of the goods to you. Upon satisfactory receipt, we will pay the refund due to you, less any postage.

If you wish to cancel your order then please let us know immediately and we will arrange a full refund. If an item has been specially ordered or customised for you then these items will be subject to any costs already incurred. We also ask that if you call to cancel an order that you also put it in writing by either email or post to help avoid any confusion.

Please note Video's, DVD's, Safety Equipment and Helmets are non-returnable.

International orders are non returnable and damaged deliveries can not be claimed for.
